Born Weird, Twitter, and NYC

10 Jan

Born Weird is Andrea Kaufman’s latest title, and in my opinion, his best book to date. I have been following his writing career since 2003, from his first novella All My Friends Are Superheroes to The Tiny Wife which was published in 2010. He has become an international sensation, and if you read BW you will understand what all the hype is about. And so you can imagine just how thrilled I was to wake up this morning to Shakespeare & Co’s post about their new titles in the shop, and BW was the first title they reviewed!

This is one of my top 2013 recommended reads. And if you are reading Andrew for the first time, read Born Weird and then go back and read his entire collection. You will not be disappointed. In fact, I predict AK will quickly be added to your list of most beloved authors.

In other news, I finally joined the ranks and am tweeting. If you wish to follow me on Twitter, I can be found @DCohane. I will do my best to tweet from NYC, where I am ¬†stationed for the next few weeks as I try to get back on track work wise. Come to think of it, joining Twitter seems rather counterproductive in terms of putting my nose to the grindstone…we shall see.
