Love your blog and I identify with your views on the e-reader. I too was sceptical about them, until I went on holiday recently and fell in love with the ease of reading and the fact that I could take enough books to keep my happy without having to pay excess baggage! Glad you found the Paul Auster book on my shelves. I’ve read quite a few of his books recently. You should try Timbuktoo. I think it is one of his best. I see you have also read Julian Barnes’ brilliant ‘A Sense of an Ending’. That book haunted me for a couple of weeks. The last e-book I read was ‘Snowdrops’ by A.D. Miller, another masterpiece which paints a portrait of Russia that the tourist board would not enjoy! Loved the book you left me …. ‘The Tiny Wife’…. very inventive and great fun….. and I will treasure the cover!

Hi Drea, Do you happen to have a list of the writers you represent or the books you have gotten published? I’d like to get an idea of where your interests lie. I also wondered if you seek publication from both Canadian and American publishing houses and what your experience has been with both.

    Thanks so much, Nancy

Due to the length of my response, I have sent you an email where I hope I have sufficiently answered all of your questions.

        Hi Drea!
I’m actually curious about this as well. I was wondering if you cover any sort of fantasy subgenre within YA? I’ve read your blog but wasn’t too sure. Hope you have a great day.

    Hi Liz,

To be honest, my interests tend to lie with contemporary/edgy YA. I am not well schooled in fantasy etc. If you have a YA ms you are looking to submit to an agent, you should contact my colleague Ali McDonald, as she specializes in children’s/YA. You can query her at: ali@therightsfactory.com
